DFM Joint Review Board Goes Live For Toy Projects

The DFM joint board moved structural risks from repeated sample rework to pre-sample alignment and gave teams a clearer first-pass plan.
Engineering, tooling, and trade teams now run one shared DFM checklist before sample kickoff. Earlier alignment has reduced repeated structure revisions in first-round samples.
Where Rework Usually Starts
Most first-round rework happens when drawing version, connector tolerance, and material assumptions are not locked in one meeting note.
In fort-structure projects, a 0.1 to 0.2 mm mismatch at the interface can trigger repeated opening force and stability debates.

What Changed In This Round
Engineering, tooling, and trade now sign one checklist together, and each risk item has an owner plus expected closure date.
The board also requires a quick connector-force mock test before color confirmation, so structure risk is handled first.

Execution Checklist
1. Lock one drawing version and issue date before sample kickoff.
2. Mark connector force range with a measurable method.
3. Assign each risk to one owner and one closure date.
